ABOUT
The venerable Chester Gallery has changed hands after 36 years and officially reopened August 3rd, 2018, with a new show entitled ‘Celebrating Summer’ (pictured right).
Longtime artist, framer, and gallerist Nancy Pinney has taken over operation of the business from co-founder Sosse Baker. The 1860 farmhouse that contains the gallery has been revived with fresh paint and the addition of a sculpture garden throughout the grounds.
Continuing a tradition started by Sosse and her late husband, Jack Baker, the gallery offers custom museum framing and frame restoration, building upon Pinney’s nearly four decades in the picture framing industry.
